Welcome to Zona d'Ombra site, the "Semantic" heavy metal band

With the name ZONA d'OMBRA (meaning Shadow Zone) we intended to express both ourselves and our music. Our minds and musical tastes are all differents, but in the composition of our own songs these differences seemed to vanish, the edges faded on the background, and a perfect syntony developed among us. Therefore our music is a natural mixture of different sounds and ideas that become something unic, like shadows of different objects together that leave one only shadow.

The band is from Pavia province, Italy, inside the countryside of the south of Milain. Here heavy metal music is for few strong funs, and it is really hard to make you notice when the pop music has the most of the public. But we are still trying to make our music, without any commercial influence and writing and playing the music we like. For this reason we are looking for true metal people to support us around the world, as we have supported the gretest heavy metal bands we all love.

At this time, we are sending our self-produced, self-registered, self-mixed album to several metal labels and producers to search for someone who could appreciate and estimete our music, because we are searching for people who believe in us and in our songs. We all are proud to present you some excerpts of our album Noise ReduXion in the download section. Hear them and let us know your comments! They are really cool !!!
